Born in the Blue half of Liverpool in 1957, Steve was on the books of his beloved Everton F.C. as a boy until a knee injury forced him to pack up football. Now living in Corby ,Steve works for the local authority and  started singing solo for a while in the clubs and pubs,before joining a band called the Mudflaps as lead singer with his bestest mate Jack Hobbs on bass.This formed the start of Mustang Blue in 2003.Known to be the daft one in the band and full of energy and sweat, as the photo,s below show, he dons an Elvis outfit every night on stage and has a laugh with the audience who often shout out " Elvis was never that fat !" (but not as fat as Mal with his shirt off !) or "Where did you dig him up from " Steve loves all types of music with The Blues, 70,s rock, and 60,s rock n roll being his favourites.Steve spends his spare time on his narrow boat on the River Nene and watching You Tube and comes a close 2nd along with Jack Hobbs in the Flatulance table !
